A point-and-click adventure game, from the genre originally introduced in 1976 on the PC where players takes on the role of a character in an interactive story driven by puzzle solving and exploration. Cantaloop is a direct adaptation of these mechanics to the cardboard medium that does not need any electronics to play. A classic point-and-click adventure game in book format. You will talk to characters, combine items to solve puzzles, and explore a different world to get ahead in the story.

In the first part of the Cantaloop Trilogy, you embody the small-time criminal Oz "Hook" Carpenter who came back from exile, looking for revenge on the person who made you leave in the first place. However that's easier said than done: You don't stand a chance against the most powerful crook in the city all by yourself. You need a team of people with unique skills if you want a chance to succeed.

Explore 20 beautifully illustrated locations, talk to characters and solve clever puzzles to collect your crew in this "Point'n'Click" type game. Search and collect items, decide where to use them and combine them together.

  • Open World: You choose where you want to go and when.
  • Non-Linear Puzzle Design: With always at least two puzzles to solve at any given time, minimizing the chance you'll get stuck.
  • Story-driven: In the prologue and the 3 parts of the game, the story continues to ramp up to the big heist on Cantaloop Island.
  • Humor: Like the old point & click adventure games, you'll get a funny response for many combinations you try.
  • Non-Destructive: None of the game material gets destroyed during play. There is only one sheet of paper you can simply copy.
  • Help System: Should you get stuck, there is a large help section where you can get up to two hints and the solution to any puzzle.
  • No Abstract Puzzles: Each puzzle fits into the world and story of Cantaloop.
  • Secrets: There MAY be a few easter eggs and unlockables sprinkled throughout Cantaloop, but I'm sure that's just a rumor.
