In Kemet: Blood and Sand, the gods of Ancient Egypt face off with each other in epic battles using every tool at their disposal. Some of them are even willing to consult the Book of the Dead, seeking forbidden knowledge of the Beyond, and the ability to call upon darker, more sinister, powerful, and dangerous powers…
With the Book of the Dead expansion, players have access to some of the most powerful power tiles in the entire Kemet: Blood and Sand universe. However, access to this terrifying power comes with a cost, as players will have to sacrifice their units to feed the Beyond. By doing so, they'll sink into putrefaction, lose more and more prestige over opponents, and even part with precious victory points. This is the price to pay for access to such dark abilities and the most frightening of possibilities. Perhaps you will learn to summon the monstrous Apophis creature, a being of pure evil that dwells in the Underworld. Perhaps you can bend the all-knowing being Thoth, the repository of the dark knowledge, to your will. If you are prepared to pay the high price for consorting with these dark forces, they will be formidable allies in the conquest of the black lands of Kemet: Blood and Sand.
